A rare and hard to find Aluminia/Royal Copenhagen small trinket or ring box. From Denmark and circa late 1960s to early 1970s mid century era. It's from the Baca series - the form and decor were designed by Nils Thorsson (1898-1975).
Ceramic/porcelain, glazed white with a khaki green and blue stylised butterfly motif to the sides and lid. It has the Aluminia logo to the base, along with model number 717/3277, a decorator's mark and the BACA/Nils Thorsson logo.
Great condition with no chips. Any glazing flaws are deliberate and part of Thorsson's techniques and experimentation.... each one is different.
Small - about 4.6 x 4.6 x 3.2mm with lid on. Suited to pills, rings, and other small trinkets etc. Danish/Scandinavian in style, and perfect for a mid century collector.
