A striking art glass vase, by Fabian Lundqvist for Alsterfors, Sweden. Dating from the 1960s or 1970s it is a plum purple colour. It is a waisted or hourglass shape with straight uppers and lowers and light 'optic' patterning to the glass (like slight lines or a grid within the glass). It is pattern number AV422/16 (16 being 16cm tall). Handmade and mouth blown in to a mould. Has the original 'Made in Sweden' label.
A small to mid sized 16cm tall x 7cm wide at the rim. Very good condition for age/era with no chips. Great on display!
