A set of four boxed Viners (Sheffield) stainless steel wine goblets, designed by Australian metal artist and jeweller Stuart Devlin. They come in their original black tube boxes. Circa mid 1970s vintage, they're modernist with Brutalist stems, typical of this retro era. The wine goblets are from the Devlin Collection. The uppers are simple polished rounded stainless steel, with a slim gold brutalist textured stem with geometric jagged/stepped textures. Simple minimalist steel base. The stainless steel is a bright shiny silver chrome-like metal with a mirror finish and highly reflective. Stamped on the base 'Viners Stainless Steel designed by Stuart Devlin Sheffield England'. Very good condition for age - a few small surface marks as you'd expect from vintage steel. Clean inside, useable, displayable. The boxes shows some signs of wear - it states they're model no J442/302. One box has a loose lid top and one 'glass' has a base that rotates... Comes with a few leaflets inside too. Each is 14cm tall x 6.5cm at the base - elegant and simple designer goblets. 180ml max capacity. Free P&P to the UK. Set of four, boxed.
