A Party Time bar set by Biesse (Italy), designed by Pino Spagnolo and from his range of designer barware. 1980s post-modernist vintage.
The set consists of corkscrew, screw cap opener and bottle opener - all in a rare 80s grid patterned clear PVC bag. 1980s pure matt red with steel inner mechanisms. The winged corkscrew with hidden arms is 19cm long and is stamped 'Biesse' to one side, and 'Made in Italy' and 'Brevettato' internally. Screw cap opener is 13.8cm long. Bottle opener is 11.2cm long. The fun carry bag is 21 x 11cm when flat.
The corkscrew is very good with no signs of use and the screw cap opener has been used a few times (it has just a tiny bit of give). The bottle opener has been used and has some patina to the steel. The bag with fabric trim is very good for 40+ years old.
A lovely (and hard to find) vibrant addition to any retro kitchen or bar area. A great pop of post-modernist colour and Italian design!
