A beautiful cup and saucer by Upsala Ekeby Gefle, Sweden. Zenit design - white porcelain or fine china base with white freehand stripes on a mid green print. I'm led to believe the design is by Helmer Ringström on a shape designed by Arthur Percy. Circa 1960s vintage, though may be older... a hard to find item.

The saucer is stamped with a silver hallmark on the base, see photos.
Very good condition for age and era. No crazing, cracks, chips. Some tiny imperfections on the original glaze/design/print from time of manufacture, with only a couple of dots missing from age and use. Very good displayable and collectable condition.

Cup is 6.5cm tall x 7.5cm wide diameter at rim - petite and probably more suited to a breakfast coffee. Saucer is 13.5cm wide.
