A pretty and petite Zelezny Brod Sklo art glass vase. Designed by Miloslav Klinger, this is most likely 1960s. Bohemian Glass, made in the former Czechoslovakia. Chunky high quality mouth blown glass.

It's a pale copper/bronze brown inner with a sommerso (floating colour) layer, cased in a pale citrine or pale straw yellow. It has a wide middle and narrow beak rim with pulled peaks. Fascinating and beautiful colouring. All sculptural, tactile and organic.

A solid 400g. 12cm x 8.5cm x 5cm. Flat polished base. Skillfully made quality art glass.

Excellent condition. Hardly any signs of age... there are two pin-prick grazes to one side along with a tiny tiny fleebite to the baseline (shown on macro setting on last photo), these are only noticeable on very close inspection.
