XL Signed Oball Murano winged vase. BIG Luigi Onesto + labels. Vintage Mid century style art glass. Red cased. Teardrop fishtail wing 3kg

A statement over-sized signed Oball Murano art glass vase, with two original labels.

I believe this winged design is by Luigi Onesto, for Verteria Artistica Oball, Murano, Italy. It's 25cm tall with a thick solid bulbous belly - and two angled contrasting pulls or 'wings'. It has a pure red inner (slightly sommerso), cased in clear glass. It has two original faded plastic labels to the left side, lower half. It is hand signed to the base - I can make out 'Oball' but I'm unsure of the other two words.

Flat polished base with no signs of wear. Circa 1970s to 1990s vintage, mid-century styling. Would hold a couple of flower stems if used (narrow inner neck), but this is more for display and for a collector. Hand made/blown by an artist.

It's in very good displayable and presentable example. There's a few surface marks on an outer edge (left side, ridge near the labels, where it's been brushed against something) and a further very fine hard to see front scratch. I'd give it a 8.5/10 - a large signed example!

A huge 25cm tall x 13cm wide x 9cm wide, weighs a very heavy 2.56kg. A high quality statement mid century gift idea.
