Wyncraft teak cheese/bread board, Alan Wallwork tile, glass bowl & cheese knife. Hardwood, vintage round ceramic tile. Serving food platter.

A fabulous large retro breadboard/cheeseboard or food serving tray. Dating exactly from 1979, this is made by Wyncraft (the original label is still on the back).

The retro inset tile is super - designed by Alan Wallwork for Wyncraft and in tones of toffee/caramel with white. Large teak surround tray with cheese knife and vintage amber glass bowl (for crisps, pickles, dips, nuts etc), both inset. Cheese knife is made by 'Bernard', has a stainless steel cheese blade and teak/hardwood handle. Vintage shallow amber glass bowl is made by Duralex, France. I believe both of these are original.

Two cutout 'carry handles' on the reverse. Also on the reverse, it has been signed "From Mark xx 1979", dating it exactly as a gift in 1979. Original label/sticker is also on the reverse which reads "Wyncraft Made in England".

Great condition for age and certainly very useable and presentable. Tile is very good, no chips, small bit of crazing. Wood is also very good, it's dense with a reddy tone with a natural sheen - the reverse is a bit more worn. Knife and bowl are excellent.
