Whitefriars pewter tapered chimney vase, no 9655, 7.5" medium size. Art glass bud vase vintage/retro. Geoffrey Baxter 1960s/1970s smoke grey

A lovely simple tapered chimney vase, designed by Geoffrey Baxter for British firm Whitefriars, pattern number 9655. This one is the mid sized version, just over 7.5" tall (19.7cm). It's cased in clear glass with a solid clear base. Fairly petite - would hold up to half a dozen slim stems. Pewter colourway is apx 1969 to 1972, so of that era. It's a smoky grey colour. Beautiful simple minimalist design with a flat polished rim.

Very good condition. It has no chips, cracks, fleebites, but it does have two pin-prick marks that I can see and feel. A few mini internal bubbles. Base has been finished off weirdly and has a funny dimple on it. I'd give it 9/10... perfect as a gift and for display.

Includes P&P to the UK.
