Whitefriars 9775 controlled bubble ruby red lobed art glass vase. 1970's encased bubbles tapering 5.5". Vintage/retro bullicante. British

A smaller version of the chunky five-lobed bullicante (controlled bubble) vase by Whitefriars, England.
It was featured in their catalogues in the 1970's so would date from this era.
I believe it was designed by Geoffrey Baxter in the early Seventies.

Distinctive ruby red inner, cased in clear glass outer. The glass has rows of tiny neat bubbles.
It tapers inwards at the top and flares out at the base, the 'ribs' form 5 lobes.
The base is flower-like, with polished flat parts.
There is a tiny chip/impact mark on the baseline (out of sight).

Fab overall condition with just a couple of microscopic hard to spot marks/scratches.

5 1/4" tall.
