A Whitefriars art glass vase in a bow-fronted rectangular block shape - part of the iconic 'Nailhead' range, #9762.

This shape originated around 1972 accompanying other nailhead designs and was designed by Geoffrey Baxter. It's the small 4 3/4" 'dimple' vase version. Meadow Green 9762 dates from pretty much 1972 (short lived production, in a hard to find colour way). It's a random indented pattern of random round nail heads on two sides, and smooth glass on the other two sides. The textured sides are lightly bowed. It has a flat polished rim. The leafy grassy green colour is cased in clear glass, see photos.

Excellent condition for the age. Lovely displayable example. Some wear to the base.

Petite - it measures 11.8cm in height x 6.2cm x 3.7cm deep.
