A fab heavy lead crystal ice bucket by Wedgwood Glass, England....

Designed by Frank Thrower from Dartington Glass, it's known as 'Eugene' and is model no FJT49. It was designed in 1982. It has the Wedgwood logo sandblasted to the base. It's hexagonal - with straight sides, much like the Brutus range. It has a thick flat polished rim. It's Midnight Grey glass - a smoky retro grey.

Very good condition for age. It has a few tiny natural bubbles from manufacture. Rim is very good with a few small nibbles on the inside line, see closeup for an example of one. The rim is just over 1cm wide, and being lead crystal this means it's a very heavy piece - it weighs over 2kg! The chromed metal handle is very good and highly reflective. The base shows signs of its age and era.

5" or 13cm tall x 10.5cm wide. Over 2kg.

It's simple and classy timeless vintage art glass piece (and very photogenic!)
