A lovely 24% lead crystal glass small vase by Wedgwood Glass, England.

Designed by Frank Thrower from Dartington Glass, the shape is known as 'Ming' and is model no FJT43. It was designed in 1982. It has a heavier more bulbous bottom and foot, with contrasting vertical upper and lightly flared rim. It's plain Midnight Grey - a smoke grey.

Very good condition for age. Rim is excellent. It's sandblasted to the base with "2 Wedgwood D/1". It's the smallest 4" version. There were three sizes, and ribbed 'optic' versions - see the book extract taken from 'Frank Thrower & Dartington Glass' by Eve Thrower and Mark Hill.

11cm tall x 5.5cm wide max. Would hold a small bunch of shorter dandelion/bluebell sized flowers.
