A super 'Walter Bosse' vintage stylised donkey.
I don't know if this donkey is by Walter Bosse as many of his earlier pieces were unmarked but I have seen similar accredited to him.
It's unsigned.

Designed originally by Austrian Walter Bosse in the 50's this is likely a slighter later version or copy, probably 1960's.
Walter Bosse (and his partner Herta Baller) were famous for quirky stylised animals. Handcrafted in solid brass, with a simple look and black patina, specific areas were polished to reveal a golden sheen, highlighting certain features. Known as the "Black Golden Line".

Cast black matte metal with brass highlights.
Excellent condition for age with very little signs of wear or age.
Petite - 10cm tall x 11cm long (apx).
