Vintage unused boxed Viners Studio 6 x teaspoons. Mid century, Gerald Benney. 1970s Stainless steel set cutlery, Sheffield. Tea coffee spoon

An original boxed set of six vintage Viners Studio tea or coffee spoons. They're untouched and unused, and three are still wrapped in paper.

Designed by Gerald Benny, Des, RCA in the 1960's or so for Viners. The spoons are lightly bark textured on the handles. High quality stainless steel with shiny heads and satin backs. Original packaging (plain and unbranded) is in good condition - see photos. The set is circa 1970s.

Spoons are in perfect unused condition. All stamped on the backs, they read 'Viners of Sheffield, England, 18/8 Stainless Steel'. They are 12.8cm long (please check this is the correct size for you).

Very collectable - the silver/goldsmith Gerald Benney was influenced by Scandinavian minimalism, as you can tell from the simple retro design.
