Vintage SylvaC hyacinth leaf mantle vase, #2456. Retro 1950s/60s dark green ceramic/pottery container. Oval trough, jardiniere, pot + frog

A foliage-inspired leafy plant 'mantel vase' by SylvaC, England. Circa 1950s to 1960s vintage.

It's a series of hyacinth leaves forming an oval bowl shape, on a foot, intended as a flower arranging pot for the mantelpice. A larger statement sized 16cm high x 26cm wide x 13cm deep (max). This example comes with its original vintage flower arranging wire 'frog' inside. It's in a more unusual and striking SylvaC dark green glaze. Stamped on the base with '2456 SylvaC Made in England'.

Very good condition with no chips. Some hard to see crazing, so probably more suited to dried flowers and for display in a collection. The wire frog is good and useable, with a deteriorated base. A lovely collectable vase! See photos.
