Vintage Swedish pewter Erik Fransson pendant & necklace. Mid century modern 1960s/1970s, signed EF. Retro round disc medallion + brooch pin

An unusual vintage statement pewter pendant on a necklace. The pendant also doubles up as a brooch and has a brooch pin to the reverse as well as a hanging loop. The pewter pendant is by Erik Fransson, and is made in Sweden in the 1960s/1970s (signed EF to the reverse).

The retro pendant is a round geometric disc with four subtly stepped layers with applied darkened lines. One half of the disc has a contrasting starburst or spiderweb pattern. It's signed to the back with 'Sweden EF M9'. Being pewter it is a naturally dull grey silver colouring with not much shine, I've buffed it up a bit so it's more silvery for now.

60mm wide round pendant, a large statement size. Replacement retro 1970s fine steel chain is around 24" - the pendant sits around heart height. The chain is lightweight bright silvertone metal, and has a snap ring fixing (there's no need to use it!). The brooch pin on the reverse is large and steel and works very well.

Very good vintage condition. A great Scandi necklace that doubles up as a brooch - perfect versatile gift idea for him or her!
