Vintage Sterling silver 925 Modernist pendant & necklace. Blue green flourite semi-precious gem stone. Retro oval cabachon. 16" snake chain

A beautiful vintage Modernist style necklace with oval pendant, most likely 1970s-1980s vintage.

The pendant has a chunky oval blue/green coloured polished stone in a silver mount - I presume it is a flourite or very similar semi-precious stone (I'm no expert). Simple cabochon style mounting with a further flat silver surround and central round 'knobs' add to the simple detail. The slightly transparent stone is hues of blue and green, with a purplier strip in the centre, please see photos.

Pendant is a decent size and chunky: the oval shape is 33 x 20mm (the stone is 27mm long), with the hanging loop at the top the pendant extends to 45cm long. It's stamped on the back with 925 and two further stamps which I can't decipher. It's on a replacement 16" 925 silver snake chain - so the statement stone sits perfectly up in an open collar-line. It weighs 15g total.

All in fab condition. The pendant is a decent statement size, yet stylish and classy, perfect for any outfit.
