Vintage Stelvia Empoli art glass jug vase, Italy. Amber yellow & cased white. Whirl patterns, Opalina Fiorentina. Retro 1960s 1970s kitsch

A fantastic amber (yellowy golden) coloured Empoli ornamental pitcher jug or vase. It's cased with white inside so it's not transparent - this makes the amber a more pale ochre or mustard tone.

It has been mouth blown in to a mould, the mouldings patterns are swirls, triangles and oval shapes. Vintage, circa 1960s or 1970s, from Empoli, Italy. It's by Stelvia and from their Opalina Fiorentina range - stamped to the base with 'Made in Italy'.

Very good condition with no chips. A decent sized statement 22cm tall x 16cm round belly, 18cm widest with the clear handle. Rim is 8cm wide - perfect to be used as a vase.

A retro and kitsch statement, perfect for a mid-century modern teak sideboard or shelving display.
