Vintage smoke blue glass jug/pitcher & four lemonade glasses. Mid century 60s/70s. Handmade/ blown. Scandinavian retro Modernist/Minimalist

A beautiful mid-century glass pitcher jug and set of four lemonade glasses - simple, stylish, Modernist/Minimalist. Probably 1970s vintage. All mouth blown and handmade high quality glass. Smoke blue colour. I think they're Scandinavian origin, most likely Swedish (Alsterfors or Aseda?).

The blue is the colour of the sky at dusk or a stormy blue grey cloud - the photos were taken in artificial light so don't quite show the lovely blue colour.

Jug is 800g, 28.5cm tall x 9cm wide cylinder shaped (very tall!). Holds around 1.6 litres - a decent size. Has a simple rounded rim with small spout.
Glasses are around 170g each, tall, slim and cylindrical and thin fragile glass. 15 x 6.5cm, and hold around 330ml - about the contents of a can of Coke.
Set of four matching glasses - suitable for lemonade, squash, Pimms, cocktails, Sangria, G&T, water etc.

Excellent condition, probably unused.
Some natural tiny inconsistencies in the glass due to being mouth blown.

UK only due to weight and the fragile nature of the glass.

A striking beautiful set, perfect for your mid-century sideboard or drinks cabinet. Also perfect for the garden and for entertaining over the holiday seasons!
