A striking large art glass fruit or salad bowl, which I believe is by Skruf of Sweden. Circa 1970s vintage.

Bengt Edenfalk designed various pieces of Swedish practical art glass with these tree slice/wood grain textures, so I believe this is also by Bengt Edenfalk for Skruf. It's like a slice of tree trunk, with the textured wood grain, and icy rim. Clear crystal-content art glass with undulating molten-looking rim (great crystal ring to it). Textured woody outers and smooth inside. It's large and tall - ideal for tossing a salad. A big 15cm tall x 23cm wide, and weighs a chunky 2kg.

Very good condition. Some signs of age and use internally. Probably hand blown, moulded then hand finished.
