Vintage silver tone pendant & 27" necklace. Big round flat metal medallion. Modernist 1960s/1970s retro disc, circles/rings/arcs. Silvertone

An unusual vintage 1960s/1970s statement silver tone or steel pendant on a long chain necklace.

The retro pendant is a slim round geometric disc consisting of rings of circles and arcs (middle ring of 8 small flat circles, surrounded by 8 large circles, with 8 outer half circles or arcs outside). I'm not sure if if is silver tone (ie silver coloured coated metal) or steel or stainless steel. It's silver coloured front and back, but internally the 1.5m deep faces are subtly gold coloured - see pics.

6cm x 6cm x 1.5mm pendant, a good slimline statement size. Chunky steel chain is a fixed length of around 27" - the pendant sits lower than heart height. The chain is a textured silvertone metal, chunky, and has a round snap ring fastening (there's no need to use it!). The chain and pendant are typically 1970s retro.

Good vintage condition. Each side of the pendant has a small discoloured and imperfect area, and it doesn't quite sit perfectly flat, see photos. I'd give it a 8/10 - very wearable and a fabulous Modernist vintage necklace, a perfect gift idea for him or her!
