Vintage Sevres France opaline vase. Simple Modernist 1930s French crystal Art Deco signed. Turquoise baby blue milk opal glass & cased clear

A fantastic pale turquoise (or baby blue) coloured Sevres glass vase. Circa Art Deco period - 1920s to 1940s, this is simple quality French opaline crystal.

Internally it's clear blue, this is cased in a pale blue opal/milk glass - you can see the two layers on the flat polished rim. It is signed to the base with a pre-war Sevres France logo. It's heavier than it looks and is very nicely made and understated. It feels tactile and displays like porcelain. (Looks similar to cased Empoli Italy and Scandinavian pieces from the 1960s).

Very good condition for the age and era. A medium sized 19.8cm tall x 7cm wide belly. 5.5cm wide at the rim.

A classy statement, perfect with with other simple Art Deco inspired pieces, or for a mid-century modern interior setting.
