A vintage vase by Scheurich Keramik, West Germany, dating from the 1960s or 1970s 'fat lava' era.

This vintage pottery vase is a glossy deep wine, berry or burgundy smooth red glaze. It's six sided with a narrower round neck, a typical simple Scheurich shape. Mid Century Modern and retro in styling - perfect statement for your teak shelving and to add a splash of colour to a collection.

Great size for a bunch of flowers (9cm wide rim, inner neck is about 4.5cm wide). The shape is 297/16... 16 denoting 16cm tall (well, 16.5cm). 10.5cm widest.

Excellent condition with no chips. Stamped to the base. Some fine small surface scratches which show in some lights, see photos.
