A lovely larger-sized vintage plant pot holder by Scheurich, West Germany. Dating from the 'fat lava' 1960s/1970s era, this is dark brown with a white centre. The central area has a freeform line around in deep brown, see photos. The finish is smooth and glossy. Nice straight-sided, lightly flared shape - Mid Century Modern and retro in styling.

The shape is 806-19, a large size. 16.5cm tall x 19cm wide at the rim. It would fit a flower pot up to 15-16cm tall. For indoor use only. Stamped to base.

Very good condition. There is a slight impact mark to the rim which shows in some photos - you can feel it with a nail (it's hard to see). Otherwise rim and base are good, good inside. Watertight.

Perfect statement for your retro plants on your mid century shelving.
