Vintage Ruda Glasbruk art glass vase. Gote Augustsson 1960s brutalist bark-textured green block. Scandinavian/Swedish cube. Mid century, MCM

A stunning art glass vase by Ruda Glasbruk, Sweden, by Gote Augustsson. Circa 1960s-1970s - typical of the age/era with its bark textured outers with impressed shapes.

Brutalist in style - blocky with random shapes - and Scandinavian mid century modern too. It's a cube shape with each side slightly different. It maintains its two original stickers. A deep forest green with rounded square rim. Nicely finished pontil base. Thick heavy chunky art glass.

9cm x 9cm x 9cm cuboid. A heavy 920 grams.

Excellent condition. A high quality mid century glass vase - or bowl or pot or even tealight candle holder. A retro Scandinavian design - perfect gift idea.
