A Scandinavian art glass vase, by Tamara Aladin for Riihimaki Glass Works, Finland.

Designed around 1970 and produced until the mid 1970s, I believe. It has a smoky pale midnight blue grey body and is cased in clear glass at the base. The blue is like a pale Whitefriars Indigo, or smoky dusky blue or mightnight sky colour. It is round with gently flaring lower half, a central bulge, and a cylindrical upper. Pattern number 1376. Mouth blown in to a mould, hand finished. Softened rim. Unsigned.

Good size - 25cm tall x 9.5cm widest. 6cm wide rim and 6.5cm wide base.

Excellent condition for age/era. Base shows some signs of the age/era. Clean internally. Some tiny bubbles. Great for display and for a collection.
