A fab retro hand mirror, probably late 1960s or 1970s vintage, made in Japan. Large paddle-shape rounded rectangular mirror with handle - vivid yellow plastic with cream inner surround - see pics. All typically 1970s space-age in shape/styling with a large top-heavy upper (not photographed straight on due to reflections!).

It's a larger handheld size, with a hole at the end for hanging up. Mirror area is a good size: 20.3cm x 18cm diameter. Maximum size: 32.5cm long x 22.7cm wide x just 8mm deep (slim, flat). Handle is 11.5cm long. Stamped to the back with 'Japan'. The yellow is a warm yellow, best shown in the first photo.

Good vintage condition with some signs of its age and use. The mirror glass is very good, slightly fogged from some angles - showing signs of its true vintage. The reverse is scratched/marked from where it has been laid down for the last 50 odd years (see last photo) and has a slight hairline crack to the left middle.

Great splash of colour for a retro bedroom, bathroom or hallway.
