A super mid century shallow oven cooking or serving dish, designed by Marianne Westman for Rörstrand, Sweden. She worked at Rörstrand during the 1950s and 1960s - likely to date from the 1960s or 1970s. The name of the design is Polka - it's a series of simple handpainted abstract fruit or vegetable patterns, using just blue and tan brown paint, over white.

A simple vintage shallow rectangular earthenware/ceramic dish with blue handles. Both a usable kitchen item and a decorative dish. Perfect for casseroles, lasagnes, serving vegetables, and for baking other shallow dishes. Stamped to base with logo. It's a weighty earthenware heat-proof ceramic.

Excellent condition - it's hardly used and very hard to believe it's vintage.

It's a Size 20 dish - 35.5cm long max with handles. 32 x 20cm dish. 4.5cm tall.
