Vintage Plustinn Norway pewter pendant & necklace. 1960s/1970s retro metal Viking Nordic boat/ship, Modernist. Leather cord, silver colour

An unusual vintage 1960s or 1970s pewter pendant on a fine leather cord/thong necklace. The Scandinavian pendant is a simplified cast pewter Viking boat - typically traditional Norwegian. It's signed to the back with 'PLUSTINN NORWAY'. It's pewter - a dull grey metal with a slight shine, and the indented areas are infilled with black.

The chunky pendant is 60 x 42mm and about 5mm deep - a good size. Thin leather cord is 1mm and round. This is a replacement cord, it's about 23" long so should slip over your head, sits above heart height. A great unisex Modernist vintage statement - perfect unisex gift idea!
