A fantastic unused vintage Orrefors Nimbus or Firefly candle holder. The design is also known as the Artichoke, due to its shape. These candle holders (votives) were designed by Berit Johansson and were produced from the early 1980s to 1995 and have a contemporary and Modernist feel.... this is an older 1980s to early 1990s boxed version. Swedish/Scandinavian origin, model no 4480/62.

It has maintains its original red label, has its care leaflet and comes boxed with the original tealight candle. Hand signed 'of' on the base. It's quality clear heavy crystal-content glass. Textured petal-like outers with a hole in the middles, designed to hold a tealight candle or a pillar candle.

Apx 9cm wide x 7cm tall. Weighs a hefty 850g!

Perfect condition with no signs of use. Box and leaflet show some age. Very appealing organic looking design, looks stunning on a tabletop and windowsill. Perfect gift idea!
