Vintage Old Hall Robert Welch salt & pepper pots/shakers + mustard bowl set. Campden, retro 1960s 18/8 stainless steel. Conical lighthouse
A lovely pair of Old Hall vintage stainless steel salt and pepper shakers, along with a small mustard pot - all designed by Robert Welch. They're all from the Campden range which was designed in 1957, so circa late 1950s or early 1960s vintage. These shakers and the condiment pot are also pictured as being used with the Oriana range - so interchangeable. Model no 41220.
Two different base stamps: The salt shaker has the usual Old Hall/Robert Welch logo, and curiously, the mustard pot and pepper pot have a simpler Old Hall logo. I can't find any history on this alternative logo but it would only have been around for a very short time. The pepper pot also has a bigger base screw cap, see photos - so it is a slightly different version, and rarer version, of the usual mass-produced design.
All satin finish 18/8 stainless steel. Heavy quality tactile feel, a stylish hardwearing minimalist set - perfect for the dining table.
Very good vintage condition. Shakers are 11.5cm tall. The shakers' bottoms neatly unscrew for refilling. Mustard pot with undulating rim is 3.5cm tall max x 5cm wide rim.
Includes P&P to the UK.
