Vintage Norway signed pottery shallow bowl/plate/dish. Mid century 1960s/70s handmade studio. Scandinavian/Norwegian dusky pink hand-painted

A vintage Norwegian hand-signed and hand-painted bowl. Not sure exactly who the design is by - see photos - it is signed '840/428 Hand made in Norway'. Mid century 1960s/1970s in style, though it may be more recent as it's in great condition. Very much in the style of other Scandi designs by Stavangerflint, Figgjo Flint, Arabia Finland, Rostrand etc.

The glazed handmade pottery dish has a white underglaze, with hand painted simple dusky pink flowers internally, with thin black line details. It has pink paint and black line striped rim - all hand painted and unique. The clay is terracotta coloured. Round and shallow - 5cm high x 22cm wide.... the perfect size for a fruit bowl, but probably more ornamental and for display than as a practical dish. It's so pretty and typically retro Norwegian.

Excellent condition!
