Vintage Murano red cased art glass bowl/dish. Diamond cut textured ashtray. 1960s mid century retro, Italian/Venetian. Gold leaf aventurine

A very unusual Murano art glass bowl... Undoubtedly vintage Italian, and circa 1960s era. It's a rounded shape with a mass of geometric (softened) diamond like cuts around the outside, making it gem-like. Internally it's red with gold leaf/aventurine, all cased in clear. I'm unsure of the artist to attribute the design to.

Excellent condition, no chips or sharp edges. The base shows the correct signs of age/era for a 1960s piece. 10cm wide x 5cm high. A nice alternative piece of mid century Italian art glass, perfect for a sideboard or coffee table. Great gift idea too!
