Vintage Murano red art glass bowl/dish. Controlled bubble folded spiral ashtray. 1960s/1970s mid century retro Italian. Shell detail, cased

A mid century Murano art glass bowl... Undoubtedly vintage Italian, and circa 1960s/1970s era.

It's a rounded shape with a twisted swirl/spiral detail with channel originally intended for a cigarette. The red is a Whitefriars ruby red or a blood red - rich and deep. There are carefully controlled bubbles within the red, see photos - small and neatly placed. Subtly cased in clear. Small flat polished base. I'm unsure of the artist to attribute the design to.

Very nice condition with just a couple minimal signs of age. 11.5cm long x 11cm deep x 5.5cm high. A lovely piece of Italian art glass, perfect as a gift idea!
