Vintage Murano art glass geode. Bowl ashtray dish: red, amber sommerso & cased aqua turquoise. Italian MCM, mid century retro 1960s/1970s

A striking Murano (Italy) geode from the 1960s/1970s or so. Thick solid glass in a round shape. Flat polished geode rim, like it has been cut in half, with glass 2.5cm thick. Striking red inner well, with an amber sommerso (floating layer, hard to see) all cased in vivid aqua turquoise. It's predominantly red on display. These bowls were made by several manufacturers, including Archimede Seguso and Flavio Poli so it's impossible who to attribute the design to.

Great quality, nicely made, collectable and displayable example. Very good vintage condition, see photos. There's one small 1mm nibble on the outer rim and a small 3mm impact mark to the right of it (shows slightly from above); these are shown on the last photo. Rim is very good. Flat polished base, with a few signs of its age and era. I'd give it a 8.5/10, a few other tiny signs of age but pretty decent example.
