A super example of a Lotts Toys Beechwood Puzzle, Series 1.
It has an old sticker saying it was "as selected for the Design Centre London".
The box says Made in England, copyright 1959.

Lovely vintage packaging - screenprinted in bright orange, brown and dark blue.
The box is in great condition for age, it's probably 1960s.

There's a small 32 page 'Problem Book' with puzzles to try and complete - you need to try and make the shapes with the supplied shaped pieces of hardwood, quite a challenge! Suitable for old and young alike, and really quite tricky. There's no answers/solutions, so quite frustrating yet relaxing and time consuming to play!

The seven 3D wood pieces are cut kiln dried American beechwood with smooth surfaces.
The wood is a bit grubby.

It's all intact and really good for its age.
