A pair of simple retro Hornsea Pottery 'tea' mugs. Using the HEIRLOOM shapes, the STRIPES range of coordinated kitchen and tableware featured thin vertical red, green, yellow, blue or brown lines on a white ground with the contents printed on the front. Designed by John Clappison and produced from 1984-1986. Made in England.

Cylindrical and minimalist with a fab pop 1980s vibe, they have simple pure yellow stripes on white, with the text 'TEA' both front and back. White pottery/stoneware/ceramic/china, stamped to the base with the Hornsea logo. The yellow is like an egg-yolk yellow.

Both in excellent condition for the age with no chips or crazing. They display well, they're clean, bight, and are fully functional.

Apx 10.6cm tall x 7cm wide cylinders.
