A lovely and simple retro Hornsea Pottery 'Kitchen Things' utensils storage container. Using the HEIRLOOM shapes, the STRIPES range of coordinated kitchen and tableware featured thin vertical red, green, yellow, blue or brown lines on a white ground with the contents printed on the front. Red was the most common colour. Designed by John Clappison and produced from 1984-1986. Made in England.

Cylindrical and minimalist with a fab pop 1980s vibe. It's a simple mid green stripe on white with the text both front and back. White pottery/stoneware/ceramic/china, stamped to the base with the Hornsea logo.

It's in very good condition for the age with no chips. It displays really well and is fully functional. Please see close up photos - there's a couple of tiny specks of print missing on one side. Internally it has some pitting and marks in the glaze out of sight. The rim is good with no chips but some very subtle signs of use on close inspection. 15 x 10cm.
