A super-useful vintage 1950s/1960s early plastic or bakelite storage container...

Intended for knitting needles, it's a long slim lidded box, also ideal for pens, knick-knacks, jewellery etc. Fabulous mid green it's by Bex, England. Being a knitting needle box it has a quirky and fun needle size gauge to the lid (series of graded holes) along with an inches ruler, see pics. It's rectangular with nicely rounded corners, 31 x 7 x 4cm, and has 'knitting needles' in retro stylised writing to the lid.

It's very good and clean and bright for its age, just some slight natural aging or fading to the bakelite. Perfect for taking your knitting or crochet or crafting bits and bobs to over to your friends. A bit of retro fun!
