Vintage Fratelli Fanciullacci Italian pottery/ceramic vase. 1950s signed '934 Italy'. Blue spots, grey, black & white grid pattern, textured

A fabulous 1950s or 1960s grid-patterned vase by Fratelli Fanciullacci, Italy... Pottery/ceramic with a matte grey textured base colour with random white glossy splatter lines, overlaid with a glossy black square pattern, and glossy turquoise blue dots within the squares. Signed on base '934 Italy'. See final photo - the abstract design was featured on p105 of Mark Hill's Alla Moda book. Each piece was hand-painted so it is unique, and any drips, wobbly bits and flaws are part of the artistic appeal.

Very good for the age and era with no cracks. I can't see any flaws. Please see all photos of it on display from all angles.

A small sized 12.3cm tall x 8cm widest at the middle, baluster shaped. Would hold about a dozen flower stems if used as a vase, but probably best for a collection. A classic bit of Italian retro kitsch!

Price includes P&P to the UK.
