A vintage dish/plate by Elox, Norway. Circa 1970s vintage.

Lovely metallic mid-blue enamel-coated plate, with starburst pattern in a 'feathers' style. It looks different from different angles with subtle moving pattern highlights. Silver coloured rim and underneath it's the same glossy vivid blue. The base metal is aluminium (pale silver colour). It has a sticker to the base with a logo saying 'NT' or 'TN' then 'Elox, made in Norway'. I am presuming Elox is the same as Eloxsoren.

In great condition, see photos. Side plate sized: 18cm wide x 2cm high. Just the right size for sweets, dry snacks, jewellery, keys, or just perfect as it is on display. A quality collectable metallic Scandinavian dish - just like a Cathrineholm, Olden or Emalux.
