Vintage Dansk candle holder. Jens Quistgaard IHQ 1960s/1970s. Retro green glass votive. Pillar candleholder, Mid Century Modern Scandinavian

A classic Dansk Designs Ltd candle holder, designed by Jens Quistgaard, Denmark, in the 1960s.

Dark green moulded glass, with the logo to the base. Designed to hold and support a pillar candle and catch the drips, but also suitable for supporting a wider tapered dinner candle, or balancing a tealight. These were mass-produced Scandinavian pressed glass stackable candle holders from the 1960s onwards, so circa 1970s.

Great displayable and usable condition. 6.3cm tall x 7.1cm wide at the rim. Inner hole is about 3.5cm wide. Inner 'shelf' for a wider candle is 6.2cm wide. Being pressed glass it has moulding lines and bubbles from time of manufacture. No chips.

These look great in a cluster - perfect for a Mid Century interior, especially around Christmas!

Price includes P&P to the UK.
