Dating from the mid century 1960s era, it's that beautifully elegant and simplistic Scandinavian Modernist style. A series of petal-like curved bunches of fronds splaying outwards. High quality Sterling Silver brooch with darker areas within the folds.

Copenhagen based Danish silversmith Viggo Wollny created modernist, abstract and classic design pieces from 1921 to 1973. Handcrafted in his “Fammik” workshop, these bracelets, brooches, cufflinks and earrings are in high demand today.

It's just the right size - 48 x 32mm with a roll-over pin to the reverse. It's stamped 'VW. Sterling. Denmark' to the reverse. It weighs 10 grams.
