A striking Modernist silver plated candle holder by A.P. Berg, Denmark.
Circa 1960s Mid Century Modern. Simplified Modernist and Scandinavian in style.

The base hallmark/stamp is the AP Berg standing man/knight figure, with the initial 'B' under. Feels and shines like sterling silver but it's silver plated. Nice simple round candle holders, with round catchers, and two sets of sturdy scooping tubular legs holding the three holders.

Perfect for the dinner table - 23cm long, 6.5cm tall. Takes a narrow tapered candle - opening is about 11mm.

Fab condition, great shine! Perfect for a mid century inspired home.

A.P.Berg was active from 1958 to 1983 in Assens on the island of Funen. He made jewellery items which were marked only with a figural logo - later identified as Berg. Berg's popular candlesticks and flatware are marked with the same figural logo.
