A lovely vintage 1970s brooch. The pewter brooch is by Ceard, and was made in Scotland (signed to the reverse). This particular design is 'Rowan Tree' - it has a central stem with leaf shapes getting smaller towards the point, with a smooth triangular asymmetric surround. Modernist style - simple, stylish, smooth, with the cutout design. It's unisex and of a good noticeable size - suitable for all.

The good-sized brooch is 67 x 27mm and relatively flat. Good condition, see photos. Being pewter it is a soft grey metal which can be polished up if needed. The pin to the reverse is roll-over and works very well. A striking and funky vintage jewellery item - perfect gift idea.
