Vintage Cathrineholm Norway enamel pan/skillet. Enamelware lidded frying pan, 60s. Mid century Norwegian/Scandinavian blue/white cookware.

A vintage plain design Cathrineholm lidded pan, made in Norway.
Enamelled steel with a plain white pan and a blue lid, with stainless steel trim.
There's a thin black line along the top of the pan and edge of the lid. Black base is stamped 'Made in Norway'.
I suspect this plain pan is an earlier design than the Lutus, maybe early 1960s, as its not stamped with the branding. Most likely designed by Norwegian enamel artist, Grete Prytz Kittelsen who worked at Cathrineholm from 1954 onwards. I asked my Instagram followers if this was Cathrineholm, and all agreed it was.

Pan is 21.5cm diameter, it stands 5cm deep. With lid on it's about 9.5cm tall. With handle it's 38cm long.
Being steel based, it's weighty at 1.3kg.

Very good vintage condition, some (minimal) wear and tear as you'd expect for 50+ years old!
Very useable and displayable condition, clean with enamel intact, no chips or dents, some signs of use internally.
Blue is lovely and bright with no obvious flaws, it's an air force blue or steel blue rather than peacock, teal or petrol blue. White externally is clean and bright too.
Handle is slightly wonky where it meets the pan, though this does not effect functionality.

UK only, free P&P.

Perfect for display in a mid century kitchen - and great gift idea!
