A fabulous Brutalist-style vintage silver tone brooch, made in Austria...

It consists of a series of random shiny vertical lines/bars, with different layers and textured infills. It feels and looks like silver, but it has no silver hallmarks. It's a coloured brooch, a silvery coated metal brooch. It's stamped to the back with 'Austria'. It is a Modernist/Brutalist styled retro costume jewellery piece - very typical of the 1960s and 1970s era.

It's a mid size at apx 43mm x 34mm. Quality cast silver tone metal with a silver finish, excellent bright silvery finish with no signs of wear. Roll-over pin on reverse works well. Excellent example. Very wearable... a retro statement piece. Perfect gift idea!
