Vintage brushed aluminium Apple ice bucket container. French/Italian? Retro 1960s/1970s barware, matte silver colour. Modernist/minimalist

A beautifully simple apple-shaped ice bucket... No maker's marks but most likely to be French origin (as many of these were). Circa 1960s or 1970s vintage.

Brushed aluminium shell (pale silver colour) with a yellow plastic stalk. It's a lightweight unlined container (therefore perfect to store anything!). The lid neatly holds fast, and prises open. Very cool item, a statement, and not necessarily for ice or for the bar - it's just a cool sculptural metallic apple which would look great in any home.

15.5cm high (excluding stalk) x 15cm wide. The metal being soft shows some signs of age with three dents on the lid (subtle lines).
