Vintage blue Steuler West German pottery candle holder, 74/10. 1960s/1970s retro ceramic, Germany. Pillar & dinner candlestick. Hooped 4"

A funky retro candle holder by Steuler, West Germany, dating from the 1960s/1970s 'fat lava' era.

This vintage ceramic candlestick is a deep glossy Royal or Navy blue. The form is cylindrical with some 'hoop' style steps/lines in and feature square handle. The holder holds both a pillar candle, tealight candle (shelf is 58mm wide) and a tapered dinner candle (inner well is 20mm wide). There is an imprinted model number on the base - 74/10.

8cm wide x 10cm tall. Very good condition with no chips. I can see one fine scratch and small subtle patch of crazing (pic 5).

Mid Century Modern and retro in styling - perfect splash of retro style for your teak sideboard and to add to a collection.

Price includes P&P to the UK.
